Trent’s passion for construction began early. Growing up, his parents owned several rental properties, and by age 12 he was learning the trades hands-on alongside skilled professionals. By 16, he was trusted to maintain and renovate properties on his own. Giving him a depth of experience most contractors don’t gain until much later in life.

Over the next two decades, Trent continued expanding his expertise across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, flooring, and full renovations. In 2018, he joined Ironworkers Local 17 Union, gaining advanced skill in structural steel and precision construction. While he excelled in that environment, he missed the independence and personal craftsmanship he had always enjoyed, which eventually led him to start his own business.

In 2020, he launched his company. What began as Trent’s Handyman and Landscaping quickly grew as clients requested larger projects and full remodels. With more than twenty years of hands-on experience, Trent was more than qualified to become a licensed general contractor and expanded the company into full-scale renovation work. The business evolved into Trent’s Handyman and General Construction to reflect the range of services we provide — from small repairs to major renovations.

Today, we’re a growing team of reliable, talented individuals with a wide variety of skills. Trent will always remain deeply involved in every project. Nothing is left without his seal of approval. He is a true perfectionist in his craft, and he sets the standard for the workmanship and professionalism that define our company. He also understands that a home is one of the biggest investments a family will ever make, and his goal is to help homeowners protect that investment, add value to it, and feel confident in every step of the process.

Trent is also mindful that every homeowner has a different budget, and he does his best to work within those limits while still delivering quality work that lasts. We are proud to be fully licensed, bonded, and insured, which means homeowners can rest assured that their project is protected and handled by professionals who meet all required standards.

Outside of work, Trent is a devoted family man. He has two small children and a fiance who he has been with for 9 years. This business isn’t just where he works, it’s part of the community he’s raising his family in, and he takes that responsibility personally.
